Best Home Boutiques in San Diego
One of my favorite things about San Diego is how supportive the community is of small, local businesses. As I venture neighborhood to neighborhood, I stumble across some of the best local home boutiques filled with to the brim of things “I have to have.” Some of these shops are staples of the community and have items that have made their way into thousands of San Diego homes.

PIGMENT
If you live in San Diego, then you MUST know about Pigment. If you’re a client of mine, there’s a big chance you’ve received a closing gift with items from one of my favorite local home and gift shops! Best known for their unique selection of plants and succulents, Pigment also has the best items for your bar cart, uniquely beautiful vessels for your home plants and some of the best locally sourced additions for your coffee table. This staple San Diego boutique, has grown to three locations across San Diego! Pigment locations include North Park, Liberty Station in Point Loma and One Paseo Del Mar.

Home + Hound
Perfect for the dog-lover that’s not willing to sacrifice style in their home! HOME + HOUND is the new kid on the block in our list of top home decor stores and it does not disappoint. Carrying unique, artisan goods from dog collars & leashes to the perfect throws, rugs and wall textiles, you are bound to find the perfect addition for your home. Whether you’re the entertainer or the homebody, you’ll find exactly what you’ve been looking for to add to your Saturday night. It’s also just a block away from Pigment in North Park so you can hit both stores on a Saturday midday stroll. And for those of you that may not be in the San Diego area or aren’t quite comfortable with in-store shopping, HOME + HOUND will soon be launching a curated selection of goods on their website which will also include online exclusives! CASA ARTELEXIA
We’re staying in the same 3 block radius in North Park with Artelexia, the best Mexican home and gift shop! One of the most creatively curated stores that I’ve walked into. You can find everything from beautiful Mexican blankets to hand blown glasses for your frosty margarita to inspirational Frida Khalo mugs. The moment you walk into Artelexia, you’re pleasantly overwhelmed by the beautiful vibrant colors that fill every nook and cranny.
Love & Aesthetics
Looking for something so oddly unique that it just fits perfectly? Love & Aesthetics is exactly that. Located in the heart of Little Italy, San Diego’s most walkable downtown neighborhood. This quaint cottage turned shop is a Jonathan Adler fan’s dream! You can finally find that hanging monkey wall lamp you’ve been searching high and low for! Or, how about that ‘Don’t Fuck With Me’ candle that fits perfectly on your home office desk? Yup, they have that in stock too! One of the most eclectic home boutiques in San Diego, Love & Aesthetics does not disappoint.
Architectural Salvage of San Diego
Architectural Salvage is one of those places that you drive by and can’t help but wonder “ooo, what’s that?” Arguably one of the coolest antique shops in San Diego, where you are bound to find something quirky for your home. You’re bound to find endless antique knobs rich with detail or vintage mailboxes that will add a bit of character to your home entry. This is a chachki dream store with plenty of unique pieces to bring as a housewarming gift! Looking for that vintage clawfoot tub? They probably have it! You’ll be sipping champagne surrounded suds in no time!
